What's in it

• Your business details and client "bill to" section
• Invoice number, issue date, and a due date that auto-calculates (defaults to Net 15 — easy to change)
• A line-item table (description, hours/quantity, rate) with the amount calculated for you
• Automatic subtotal, optional tax rate, and total due
• A payment details and notes section

It opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. A second tab walks through exactly which cells to edit (they're marked in blue) — everything else, including the formulas, is locked in place so the math stays correct.

How to use it

1. Fill in your business name and contact details at the top.
2. Add your client's name and email under "Bill To."
3. Set the invoice number and adjust the due date if you don't use Net 15 terms.
4. Add a line for each thing you're billing for — a description, the hours or quantity, and your rate. The amount and totals calculate themselves.
5. Set a tax rate if you need to charge one (leave it at 0% otherwise).
6. Fill in how you want to get paid, add any notes, then export to PDF (File → Download → PDF in Google Sheets or Excel) and send it to your client.
