Download the extension
It's a plain folder of files — no installer needed.
timegoals-for-asana.zipUnzip it somewhere you'll remember — Chrome loads directly from that folder, so don't delete it afterward.

Load it into Chrome
Go to chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top right), then click Load unpacked and select the unzipped asana folder.

Connect your TimeGoals account
Click the extension's icon in Chrome's toolbar → Settings. Generate a token from API Tokens in your TimeGoals settings, paste it in, and click Test Connection.

Click the clock
Open any task in Asana. The first time you click a task from a project TimeGoals hasn't seen before, it'll say so — open Integrations and assign it to a TimeGoals project once. Every task in that project works after that.
Before you install
Which browsers does this work on?
Chrome, and other Chromium-based browsers like Edge and Brave. Not Firefox or Safari yet.
What does the extension actually see?
Just the web address and title of the Asana tab you're on — that's how it knows which task and project you're looking at. It doesn't connect to Asana's API or read your Asana password, and it only talks to your own TimeGoals account.
Is this in the Chrome Web Store?
Not yet — for now it installs the same way developers test their own extensions, straight from the downloaded folder. Functionally identical either way.
